- Restructured Internally and quadrupled chapter membership
- Launched Signature Sisterhood initiatives: D-Days, Sacred Sister Circle and "I’ve got mine – you get 9"
- A Host Chapter for 2002 National Convention – SM-LAC met $20,000 chapter fundraising goal
- Initiated SM-LAC's Inaugural Line – M.E.C.C.A. – Most Esteemed Courageous and Creative Achievers
- Created SM-LAC's largest fundraiser: Annual All Alumni Greek Show
- Created the Educational Development Signature Program: Annual Historically Black College Tour
- Created Physical & Mental Health Signature Programs: Annual Health Fair and annual participation in AIDS Walk
- Established the Monthly President's Luncheon for new members (precursor to current New Member Orientation)
- Launched national fundraiser and book tour: Delta Authors On Tour – national tour of Authors who are members of DST.
- Established SM-LAC's award-winning interactive chapter website
- Created SM-LACs Annual Chapter member Business Fair – showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit of chapter members
- Initiated Annual Thanksgiving Fellowship Dinner
- Created SM-LAC's first awards: Pinnacle and Fortitude

- Established International Awareness Signature Program: International Outreach Trip – Inaugural destination was South Africa
- Gained status as one of Top 10 largest chapters in the Sorority
- Nearly $60,000 awarded in scholarships
- Established SM-LAC's Foundation – Torch Foundation
- Launched Economic Development Signature Program: YouthPrenuers
- Created Delta Author's Catalog – catalog of authors who are members of Delta Sigma Theta.
- Created Deltas After Dark Fundraiser - a classy autumn evening affair featuring a live band, silent auction and dinner
- Initiated Summer Madness Fundraiser – a summer month collaboration with Omega Psi Phi to raise funds while enjoying summer activities
